Conciencia Verde is an environmental and educative collective based in Santa Marta, located on Colombia's north Atlantic coast. The collective's mission is to reforest urban spaces and city surroundings through neighbors' participation, inviting back nature and birds into the municipality. Confronted with water access difficulties, intense heat and droughts, plastic and trash thrown, and lack of green areas in an expanding city, the collective shares its green-conscious and sustainable lifestyle with locals by planting native trees and organizing educative workshops. The challenge of this brand design was to create a natural and modern identity with an emotive and human feeling. The Colibri symbol transmits values of hope and agility to remind us that every little action has an influence, even those of the tiniest bird.
